CLASSIC PLASTIC / LOOP 7 - THE THEME

So we've decided to start a new feature on our site called "Classic Plastic" where we'll be going through our vinyl collections and posting some music you may not have heard before. Check out our first entry after the jump.

Satoshi Tomiie was just in town and a lot of people out there don't realize he's been around for 20 years. He's mostly known for his progressive output, but Satoshi started his house career producing "Tears" with the godfather, Frankie Knuckles in 1989. (Yes, there was house music in the 80s). "Tears" is a huge, huge classic, but I elected to pick something less obvious...So I've picked his deep house bomb "The Theme" which he produced as Loop 7. This came out on Strictly Rhythm in 1994. It may or may not be available on Beatport (it is, but the vinyl is better :P)
