PLASTIC LOVE x 2

Two parties to get your boogie on tonight with the Plastic Love DJs. Bas will be doing the disco/soul thing over at Soul Purpose while Jimmy gives back to what he loves most at Beats for Boobs. More info after the jump.
The inaugural Los Angeles leg of the famed Beats for Boobs charity event kicks off tonight at The Key Club and features local DJs, fashion designers, artists, and culinary whizkids. Jimmy will be joined by KCRW's Garth Trinidad, Deep front-man Marques Wyatt, and Hang Together's DJ Kerry, and Compression resident Meshell. All proceeds from Beats for Boobs will be headed to supporting local breast cancer organizations. Definitely a good cause and even if you can't make it please donate. Every little bit helps. If you can make it tonight you'll be treated to some fantastic music, great food, and even a little fashion show. Click here to donate and more information on the designers and artists involved.

Bas will be over at Hemingway's for Giant and OM's new mid-week shindig, Soul Purpose. Joining him will be some good friends of ours (and former podcast guests!) spinning disco and funk all night long. Happy hour is 9p-11p with $7 vodka drinks and $5 draft beers. Entry is free, but you gotta RSVP.

If you'd like to attend both, Jimmy will be playing Beats for Boobs during the fashion show from 9p-10p then again from 1a-2a and Bas will be opening things up at Soul Purpose from 9p-11p.
