Plastic Love December Double

Another double header weekend headed your way in December.

First up is New York's famed Barbarians making its way to Los Angeles with Throne Of Blood head honcho James Friedman leading the charge.  Also on the bill is Los Angeles disco darlings Cosmic Kids with Culprit's Justin Sloe, Bas, Dirty Dave and Louisahhh.  Barbarians invade The Well on Friday December 03.  Expect divine disco, house and techno as orchestrated by fearless and enthusiastic masters well into the wee small hours of the morning

Mayhem will ensue.
BE ADVISED.

Saturday December 04 is 2010's final installment of Plastic Love at The Honey Lounge and we've asked Hot Biscuit's Travis T.K. Disko to take us on our trip.

Travis has been a mainstay in the San Francisco music scene since before he had a drivers license. Armed with a crate full of slightly different, completely funky and totally eclectic far-out sound, his song selection is all over the map. But the flow from underground disco to left-field 80s dance, deep house, italo, acid then back, is rugged yet smooth and makes sense in a way you wouldn't think possible.

He is a founding member of 40 thieves (Smash Hit Music/Rong/Permanent Vacation), the now infamous Hot Biscuit parties and resident dj for SF's Gun Club events and just over the last couple years he's been booked to play alongside everyone from the Idjut Boys to Jeff Mills. A recent move to Los Angeles has him back in the studio, ready to unleash a new kind of groove for discerning dance floors everywhere.

Recent guests to the Hot Biscuit roster include:

Lindstrom
Prins Thomas
Justin Vendervolgen
Maurice Fulton
Optimo
Metro Area
DJ Kaos
Eric Duncan
Trevor Jackson
Mike Simonetti
Dj Harvey
Thomas
Photocall
DJ Jeno
Garth

Bas & Jimmy will be holding things down early with the opening set, Travis to follow.
