TWO YEARS OF PLASTIC LOVE / SOL REPUBLIC GIVEAWAY

It's a bit hard for us to believe that two years have already gone by since we started this little ole party of ours. Two years of guest DJs, two years of gigs, two years of our own parties, two years of podcasts turned radio shows. We've seen Plastic Love transform from an idea to a full fledged party machine, it's our baby and we couldn't be happier. To help us celebrate, our friends over at SOL REPUBLIC are letting us give away some of their Tracks headphones to our fans. We've also got quite a fun two year celebration in the works, read on for more.

THE OPIATES - REALITY TV (DROP OUT ORCHESTRA DUB) / DISCO ACTIVISO

The Opiates is a new project featuring the sultry vocals of one of the queens of house music, Billie Ray Martin. This remix EP; featuring Drop Out Orchestra, Disco Bloodbath, Dan Beaumont, Aera Negrot (from Hercules & Love Affair), and Doorly, landed in our inbox today and was quite the welcome surprise. They're all pretty fantastic, but Drop Out Orchestra's mix is the one that spoke to me the most. Slow-mo groove, disco strings, and Miss Martin's voice, what more could you ask for? Although the radio edit was in our box, Drop Out Orchestra is giving the dub away for free. Check it.

ÂME LIVE AT PLASTIC LOVE (LIVE DEBUT TOUR) / DEC.17.2011

In 2010 Âme's announced plans for a live compilation CD and accompanying tour, 2011 saw that tour come to fruition with shows at Trouw and the Awakenings Festival in Amsterdam, Tunnel in Italy, Dekmantel in Netherlands, and various gigs all over Europe. We at Plastic Love have pegged Âme for their Los Angeles leg and we couldn't be happier to be a part of their debut North American tour. Tickets and guestlist info after the jump, check it out.
