PULSE 051 / THRONE OF BLOOD

As we enjoy our brief hiatus from the Plastic Love podcast we feel obligated to continue to push some great music. The fine people over at Pulse Radio have pegged our buddies at Throne Of Blood for this week's edition of the Pulse Radio podcast to celebrate their latest release from label stalwarts Populette. They've even managed to get head honcho "Big Baby" James Friedman and Max Pask (1/2 of Populette) sat down for a brief interview. Check out some excerpts from the interview and of course the unreleased TOB jams heavy mix (with accompanying tracklist!) from Populette and James after the jump.

PLASTIC LOVE x 2

Two parties to get your boogie on tonight with the Plastic Love DJs. Bas will be doing the disco/soul thing over at Soul Purpose while Jimmy gives back to what he loves most at Beats for Boobs. More info after the jump.

ONEAUFF / HEAVY HEADY EP [THRONE OF BLOOD]

More heavy hitters from the Throne Of Blood camp, this time around from recent podcast guest and one half of Raney & Harkin, Steve Raney.

BICEP / SAY YOU WANNA [MYSTERY MEAT]

It's no surprise that we're mega fans of Bicep, the boys that run the always fantastic Feel My Bicep blog. Ever since their debut Throne Of Blood EP, aptly titled EP 1, they've been on an absolute tear on the studio and on the road paying gigs all across England and Europe. Now they've decided to flex their studio muscle for the Mystery Meat series.  Summer's still here and they've provided a four-track EP dripping with 80s sleaze and pool side vibes.  Check it out after the jump.

PLASTIC LOVE PODCAST 012 / ULYSSES

This week's podcast comes to us by way of Wurst Music Co.'s Ulysses. As one half of Filipsson and Ulysses with Holmar Filipsson (aka Thugfucker) and Neurotic Drum Band with John Selway, Ulysses is a man on a mission on the production front and quite a stellar DJ to boot.

Plastic Love Podcast 010 // Populette (Throne Of Blood, NYC)

Episode 10 of our podcast features Throne Of Blood's Populette, throwing together a stormer of a set before he joins the rest of the TOB crew for their first European tour.

Podcast Update

I've made an exeutive decision regarding the podcast, and starting this month the format will change slightly.  In lew of two part episodes, our mix and the guest mix will be stitched together for one long download.  We figured that was easier.  More after the jump.

Plastic Love December Double

Another double header weekend headed your way in December.
