Plastic Love December Double

Another double header weekend headed your way in December.

Plastic Love feat. Ray Zuniga (Making Shapes) // Bas & Jimmy Maheras

This month’s disco adventure falls squarely on Halloween weekend and we are set to provide the soundtrack with spooky disco, ghoulish funk, and a little bit of other worldly house. Joining us on our trip through to the other side is Ray Zuniga from the Making Shapes collective. After featuring Ray on the Plastic Love Podcast last month, we needed to get him in the club to do his thing proper. Ray is on opening duties with an extended set and Plastic Love residents Bas & Jimmy take the decks at the witching hour well into the next morning. Get in to get down…Happy Halloween.

Plastic Love feat. James Friedman // Justin Sloe // Bas + Jimmy Maheras

Our 4th installment of Plastic Love at The Honey Lounge. This month we welcome Throne Of Blood label head James Friedman from New York along with Culprit and Droog old bhoy Justin Sloe.

Plastic Love Podcast Episode 03 - Bas & Jimmy Maheras, Ray Zuniga

The first part of our podcast is a live mix from the two of us at our last Plastic Love party, with a guest mix from an up and comer in Los Angeles.  Ray Zuniga

Plastic Love - July 24th - PHOTOCALL.

This month we welcome Eli Epstein aka Photocall to grace the decks at Plastic Love. We were introduced to Photocall during his opening set by way of Droog and Metro Area back in May, and we can't help but wonder what else he's capable of. Currently A&R man for Ghostly Internati...onal as well as releasing tracks on Clone Records and his own Computer Life imprint, Photocall is no stranger to all things dance music. A vinyl purist at heart, he'll take the decks late night and quite frankly we can't wait.

Nic Fanciulli & guests in the main room.

Double Feature This Saturday

If you follow the World Cup, and you're a fan of France, we're sorry. Well not really, they had it coming.

In any case, this Saturday Bas & Jimmy have a bit of a doubleheader for everyone to get their disco on. In the afternoon we join Delinquent Frequency and recent LA transplant Mr. C for the Overboard Tiki Boat Party followed by Plastic Love in The Honey Lounge with our special guest Eduardo Castillo. We're very pleased to host Eduardo, purveyor of The Eclectech and the Voodoo Underground, he is definitely a force behind the decks to be reckoned with. Avalon will also have Lee Burridge, Raul Campos of KCRW, and Los Angeles/San Francisco/cool guy extraordinaire, Jefferey Allen in the main room! Awesome right? I know! More exclamation points!
